LIXiSE MX341-Gray is a two-phase induction automatic voltage regulator, a vital part of the excitation system for brushless generators. Apart from regulating generator voltage, the AVR circuit is integrated with protective functions to guarantee safe and dependable generator control.

This model serves as a direct replacement for the Series 3 AVR range. It features the same mounting footprint and wiring layout, with one extra terminal added for extended usage.

This AVR is exclusively designed for matching permanent magnet alternators. Excitation power is generated by a three-phase PMG, which isolates the AVR power circuit from disturbances caused by non-linear loads. It minimizes radio frequency interference at generator terminals. Another advantage of the PMG system is its stable constant short-circuit current.

Available adjustable control knobs:

The AVR senses voltage from the generator’s central winding and modulates the power supplied to the exciter stator and main rotor. It maintains generator output voltage within the rated range, automatically compensating voltage deviations triggered by generator load, rotating speed, temperature and power factor variations.

A built-in soft start circuit is equipped to deliver smooth, evenly controlled generator output voltage during startup.
