Product Overview
The 702MS engine control module is a compact and reliable genset controller designed for manual and automatic engine management. It allows operators to start and stop the engine directly via front-panel key switch and physical buttons, while providing real-time fault indication and automatic engine shutdown protection. Once an abnormal condition occurs, the controller immediately stops the unit and displays the exact fault cause through panel LEDs, delivering accurate and fast failure notification.
In addition, the auto-start version supports remote switch input to trigger the full automatic engine starting sequence, making it suitable for simple unattended generator systems.
Core Features & Protection Functions
Equipped with a tamper-proof LCD hour counter, the 702MS accurately records total engine running time for maintenance tracking and equipment management. It provides comprehensive engine protection against low oil pressure, high coolant temperature / cylinder temperature, engine overspeed, emergency stop, and start failure. All alarm and running statuses are clearly displayed via panel LED indicators.
The controller integrates alternator excitation charging function, stable idle speed control, and power-off shutdown function. It adopts generator frequency as the engine speed signal source, ensuring stable and precise speed monitoring during operation.
Flexible Output Configuration
It comes with 2 fixed relay outputs for fuel control and engine starting. Meanwhile, 3 fully programmable outputs support customizable functions including common alarm output, preheating output, idle control, and shutdown output, adapting to different genset wiring and control requirements.
Convenient Parameter Debugging & Stable Performance
Built with a standard USB communication interface, the 702MS can be directly connected to a computer for full parameter configuration, calibration, and data monitoring. Adopting a 32-bit ARM microcontroller and independent hardware watchdog design, the controller ensures no system crash and stable program operation in long-term working conditions.
Wide Voltage & Installation Design
With an ultra-wide DC 8V~35V power supply range, it perfectly adapts to various battery voltage fluctuations during generator starting and running. Featuring a standard 67*67mm cutout size and flame-retardant ABS housing, it supports embedded installation with simple operation, strong durability, and excellent stability for industrial generator equipment.
