LIXiSE RMS440B is a digital automatic voltage regulator adopting True RMS detection technology, an upgraded substitute for SX440 which uses average value detection.
SX440 with average value sampling will suffer voltage rise, violent oscillation and even voltage runaway when supplying nonlinear loads including frequency converters, servo motors and switching power supplies. By comparison, RMS440B with true RMS sampling technology maintains steady generator output voltage without voltage surges under complex nonlinear load conditions.
RMS440B shares the exact same wiring terminal layout as SX440, supporting direct replacement to upgrade generator voltage performance without rewiring. Besides, it supports 360~450VAC sensing input, which can be directly applied to generators without center tap winding.
